Alpaca Fur Stuffed Animals

Our stuffed animals are handmade by a skilled artisan family of Puno Peru, which sits high in the Andes at 4000 meters (over 13,000 feet). Puno is known for the lake it sits on, Lake Titicaca, which is the world's highest navigable lake and which has "floating" islands that its people inhabit. This area of Peru is considered by some as the capital of Peru's artisan tradition. 

The alpaca fur comes from young adult alpacas raised in Puno by our family of artisans. The wool is naturally colored. No dye used here. 

These stuffed animals measure approximately 12" tall. 

They are:

• hypo-allergenic
• super snuggly soft

As with all handmade and naturally colored items, there are sometimes imperfections or variations from item to item. This is what makes them special.
